MONTREAL - Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced Sunday that the team has agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract (2021-22) with forward Brandon Baddock.

The agreement, which carries a $750,000 value at the NHL level, guarantees $175,000 to Baddock. He is set to make $150,000 at the AHL level.
The 26-year-old native of Vermilion, AB spent the last season with the Laval Rocket, amassing two goals and three assists, in addition to serving 64 penalty minutes in 25 games. The 6-foot-3, 221-lb forward also spent time with the Canadiens taxi squad this season.
A sixth-round pick (161st overall) of the New Jersey Devils in 2014, Baddock will be playing in his sixth season in professional hockey, having recorded 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists) in 195 career AHL games with the Binghamton Devils and Rocket between 2017 and 2021.
