BROSSARD -- The Canadiens hit the ice for Day 9 of training camp on Wednesday.

Brett Kulak and Xavier Ouellet hit the ice for the first time since the start of Phase 3 on Wednesday. However, Kulak did not participate in the full practice

With an almost full squad on the ice, Wednesday's session was largely dedicated to a team scrimmage -- the second of training camp so far. The players were divided into the following two teams:

Team Red earned a 2-0 win over Team White, with goals coming from Ben Chiarot and Dale Weise.

Here's what Claude Julien had to say after Wednesday's skate.

Claude Julien on the second scrimmage of training camp:

It's fun to have our whole group together. I liked the pace of our scrimmage today. There were a lot of good things happening, and we were executing with speed. That's what we have to do, because our team is based on speed - not necessarily size or grit. We have to be quick and our execution has to be good, and I saw the guys bring that to the scrimmage today. […] I liked our scrimmage today, to be honest, but there won't be a better scrimmage than the one against the Leafs [next week].
