MONTREAL -- The Canadiens announced on Monday that Phillip Danault is suffering concussion-like symptoms, and will be reevaluated by the team on a daily basis.
The 24-year-old forward was hit in the head by a Zdeno Chara shot during Saturday's game against Boston. Danault left the ice on a stretcher and spent the night at the hospital before returning home on Sunday morning. In 43 games this season, the Victoriaville, QC native has registered seven goals and 16 assists, tying him for third with Brendan Gallagher among the team's top point-getters.
