PHILADELPHIA - The Habs fell 3-2 to the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday.

It was a day to remember for Sean Farrell. The 21-year-old made his NHL debut in the City of Brotherly Love.

Prior to the game, the Canadiens announced that Kirby Dach would not play due to an upper-body injury. Chris Tierney, who was initially a healthy scratch, played his 17th game for Montreal.
Cayden Primeau made his season debut between the pipes. He was recalled on Monday from the AHL's Laval Rocket.

The opening period featured no goals. Shots were 14 to 8 in favor of the Canadiens.
In the middle frame, Morgan Frost gave the home side a 1-0 lead with 3:41 played in the stanza.
Near the halfway mark of the game, Brendan Gallagher scored an unassisted wrister and his third goal in as many games to tie it up.

After 40 minutes, the game was tied at one apiece. The Habs continued to lead in shots on goal with 23 to the Flyers' 19.
In the third period, Frost scored his second of the game to give Philadelphia a 2-1 lead with less than five minutes to go.
Owen Tippett notched an empty netter to double their tally.
Rafael Harvey-Pinard cut into their advantage, but the Canadiens couldn't tie the game to force extra time. Jake Evans and Jesse Ylonen earned assists.

The Habs will travel to Montreal and take on the Florida Panthers at the Bell Centre on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
