Following the game, defenseman Shea Weber, forwards Tyler Toffoli and Phillip Danault, and goaltender Carey Price spoke with reporters via Zoom.
They were followed by interim head coach Dominique Ducharme.
Here are a few highlights from their respective chats:
Weber on what the Canadiens have proven by advancing to the Stanley Cup Semifinals:
Nothing yet, to be honest. It doesn't mean a whole lot. It's a step in the right direction and we're moving forward. It's another step to our ultimate goal, but we definitely can't be satisfied.

Shea Weber on the Habs' team chemistry

Weber on the importance of finishing the series against the Jets on Monday night:
Winning the fourth game is always the hardest one. Going through playoff series, you know that when a team is down and they've got their back against the wall, they're going to bring their best effort. It's always the hardest one to close out. You don't want to give a team too many chances because things can turn around really quickly.

Toffoli on the significance of his series-clinching overtime goal:
I think that's definitely one of the bigger ones. It's fun right now. We're doing a good job. It just feels like we're all kind of playing as one. We just have to continue like this. Hopefully, we just keep having success and keep winning games.

Tyler Toffoli on the belief in the room

Toffoli on the key ingredients to the Canadiens' postseason success:
It's just one of those things where we just don't care who gets the job done for us. We have everybody going. Everybody's playing the right way. We're just winning games and just playing. Honestly, we're all playing our best hockey at the right time, so we've just got to keep going.

Danault on the Habs' success against Winnipeg:
We started the series with momentum coming off our Game 7 victory over Toronto. We were very confident. We were hungry to keep winning. We came out strong against Winnipeg and we kept on pushing. We'll take full advantage of these days off to rest.

Danault on his pride in making the Cup Semifinals

Danault on clinching a berth in the next round:
We're proud. We worked extremely hard. Everybody is playing their best hockey at the same time. It's great to see. We're happy, but we aren't satisfied. We want to keep winning. We're having the time of our lives right now.

Price on earning a spot in the Stanley Cup Semifinals:
I said at the start of the year that every chance you get is a golden one. These guys are playing as well as any team has ever played.

Carey Price on the Canadiens' resilience

Price on taking pride in the group's achievements:
They're a resilient bunch of guys. We've been sticking together this whole season through thick and thin, and it's paying off for us.

Ducharme on the possibility of defenseman Jeff Petry playing in Game 1 of the next series:
We're very confident that he'll play in the semifinals. We still don't know if he'll play in the series-opener. We still don't know when the series will start. But, if he doesn't dress for the first game, he should still play early in the series.

Dominique Ducharme on sweeping the Jets

Ducharme on facing the Colorado Avalanche or the Vegas Golden Knights in the semis:
We have a lot of work ahead of us. Obviously, we really knew the teams we played this year. It's good to battle the best. They were among the top teams in the League. Our goal isn't to stop here. If we want to reach our goal, we need to beat the best teams.
