Numbers Game

UNIONDALE - Here's a numerical look at Thursday night's game against the Islanders at NYCB LIVE/Nassau Coliseum.

1,460 - Exact number of days that have passed since the Canadiens' last visit to Nassau Coliseum. Fun fact: Montreal's last stop in Uniondale was also on March 14. The Habs won that contest 3-1 over the Islanders. Brendan Gallagher, Carey Price, Jeff Petry, and Dale Weise are the only four players on the current roster who played in that game back in 2015.
3,400 - This may have been the Habs' first game at Nassau in a long time, but it was also the 3,400th game they've played on the road in franchise history (NHA and NHL). The Habs have a 17-16-3 record as the visitors this season, and boast an all-time record of 2,046-888-382-84 away from Montreal.
15 - Carey Price had a strong first period, stopping 15 pucks in the opening frame to allow his club to head to the room with a 0-0 score. For their part, the Canadiens got nine pucks on Islanders netminder Thomas Greiss.

5 - When Jordie Benn got the Habs on the board late in the middle frame, he not only tied the game at 1-1 but also set a new career high in goals with his fifth of the season. The eight-year veteran now has 22 career goals with the Dallas Stars and Canadiens. He also has 14 assists this season and is now just one point away from matching his personal-best 20-point season (3G, 17A) set in Texas in 2013-14.

3 - Christian Folin picked up his third assist as a Hab on Benn's goal. It was the Swedish defenseman's eighth game with Montreal after joining the Habs via trade with Philadelphia.
