BUFFALO - Here's a numerical look at Thursday night's game between the Canadiens and the Buffalo Sabres at the KeyBank Center.

1 - Thursday night's contest marked the first regular-season meeting between the No. 1 and No. 3 overall picks at the 2018 Draft, Rasmus Dahlin of the Sabres and the Canadiens' Jesperi Kotkaniemi. Both players entered the game with three points to their name (1G, 2A for Dahlin, 3A for Kotkaniemi). Both Dahlin and Kotkaniemi earned an assist in the game.
5 - Max Domi extended his points streak to five games with a first-period go-ahead goal and added a second in the final frame. He now has 10 total points on the season, with seven of those coming on his current streak. He became the first Canadiens player to reach the 10-point plateau this season.

4 - Domi's first three goals of the season were all scored in the first four minutes of the game. He got his first marker on October 17 against the St. Louis Blues just 17 seconds into the game. His second of the season was scored 3:40 into the October 20 game in Ottawa, and he found twine just 1:17 into Thursday night's contest against the Sabres.
20 - Number of shots Antti Niemi stopped before allowing his first goal of the night. Jason Pominville broke the ice for the Sabres 11:22 into the second period when he tipped in a Jeff Skinner shot to square things up at 1-1.
191 - Number of minutes the Sabres had gone without scoring on the Canadiens until Jason Pominville got Buffalo on the board with 8:38 to go in the second period. The Sabres' last goal against the Habs came on November 11, 2017 by Ryan O'Reilly. Carey Price shut Buffalo out on November 25, 2017 with a 36-save performance and Niemi did the same when he made 35 saves on March 23.
