Postponement of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens learned today of the NHL's decision to postpone the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, scheduled to take place at the Bell Centre in June, to an alternate date and venue as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis.

Noted France Margaret Belanger, Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer for Groupe CH, "While today's news is disappointing for fans of hockey in general and those here in Montreal in particular, this is the right decision to make under the circumstances. I'm confident that the League will propose an alternative that will be in the best interest of all hockey fans."
