Preview - Boston - January 17

The Canadiens will try to avenge last Saturday night's shootout loss to the Bruins when they play in Boston on Wednesday.

The tilt will mark the second of three meetings between the Atlantic Division rivals over an eight-day span.
Claude Julien's troops are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss at the hands of the New York Islanders in which they fired 56 shots on goaltender Thomas Greiss, but came away with just a single point.
Max Pacioretty, Nicolas Deslauriers, Jonathan Drouin and Paul Byron scored for the Habs.

For their part, the Bruins are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Dallas Stars in their most recent outing.
Bruce Cassidy's squad is especially tough to beat at TD Garden. They boast a 14-5-4 record on home ice.
No doubt the Canadiens will have to pay extra attention to the likes of Brad Marchand (18 g - 23 a) and David Pastrnak (17 g - 22 a) in order to keep them off the scoresheet.
Pacioretty, meanwhile, has scored in each of his last four games, while Drouin and Alex Galchenyuk are riding three-game point streaks.
At practice on Tuesday, Julien featured Drouin on right wing with Jacob de la Rose at center and Alex Galchenyuk on the left side. It remains to be seen if the Canadiens' bench boss will stick with that combination for the game itself.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST. The game will be broadcast on TV on Rogers Sportsnet and RDS, as well as on the radio on 98,5 fm and TSN 690.
