MONTREAL - Prospect Sean Farrell was named the USHL Player of the Year on Monday.

The Chicago Steel left-winger led the League in scoring with 101 points (29 goals, 72 assists) in just 53 games.

In doing so, Farrell became the second player in the history of the USHL to register at least 100 points in a single campaign.
Lincoln Stars forward Kevin Roy previously accomplished the feat in 2011-12, amassing 104 points (54 goals, 50 assists).
Farrell also strung together a 24-game point streak from November 25, 2020 to February 11, 2021, which represents a League record. The Hopkinton, MA native recorded 40 points (15 goals, 25 assists) during that span.
The 19-year-old forward was a standout in the postseason as well, amassing 10 points (2 goals, 8 assists) to help the Steel claim the Clark Cup.

Farrell was a fourth-round selection of the Canadiens, 124th overall, in 2020.
He will play for Harvard University (NCAA) next season.
