Gilbert Dionne joined Breezer for the inaugural episode ofLe Salon des Anciens to share some behind-the-scenes stories from the '93 Stanley Cup shenanigans - including a postgame celebration that included Celine Dion and the real story behind Marty McSorley's infamous "illegal curve."
Sheldon Souray will help launch the English side of the podcast on March 11, sitting down for a deep discussion on everything from his memories of Montreal to his struggles after hanging up the skates and how he's now thriving in his post-retirement life.
Brisebois played for the Canadiens during 16 of his 18 NHL seasons, playing 896 of his 1,009 career games as a member of his hometown Habs, which included two separate stints in Montreal. The 1993 Stanley Cup champ will bring his unique perspective to his interviews with former teammates, and will be joined on the English episodes by co-host and comedian Chantal Desjardins, who has over a decade's worth of TV, comedy, and radio credits to her name, including her time hosting national Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts.
French episodes will be co-hosted by Marc Dumont, who previously worked for The Athletic, before joining the Canadiens as a special contributor and host of the team's History in the Making and L'histoire s'écrit podcasts, which focus on the organization's prospect pool.
The Alumni Lounge, which is presented by

, will also touch on financial topics that come with being an NHLer, from money management lessons they learned the hard way to financial advice they'd give their rookie selves.
