Hoffman, 31, tallied 36 points (17-19-36) in 52 games with the St. Louis Blues in 2020-21. The 6'00'' and 182 lbs forward notched seven of his goals on the power play, leading the Blues in this category. Hoffman also added one goal in four playoff contests against the Colorado Avalanche.
Over the course of his NHL career, the left-handed shooter produced 395 points (189 goals, 206 assists) in 545 games with the Ottawa Senators, Florida Panthers and Blues. Hoffman scored 67 of his goals on the power play and collected 139 points with the man advantage. The forward also served 187 penalty minutes since making his NHL debut in 2011-12.
A native of Kitchener, ON, Hoffman played three seasons in the QMJHL before reaching the professional ranks. The left-winger amassed 227 points (122 goals, 105 helpers) in 180 regular season games with the Gatineau Olympiques, Drummondville Voltigeurs and Saint John Sea Dogs. He also won the President's Cup with Drummondville in 2008-09.
Hoffman was selected in the fifth round (130th overall) by the Ottawa Senators at the 2009 NHL Draft.
