MONTREAL - Groupe CH presented the details and objectives of its Respect and Consent Action Plan on Wednesday, enabling the company to act both internally and externally to raise awareness and educate its employees and the public about respect and consent and the serious consequences of sexual cyberviolence.

This action plan is based on two key areas: the internal environment of Groupe CH as well as the external and community environment. This plan will also benefit from a $1 million seed investment fund set up by the company.
"We want to ensure that our actions will be part of a concerted approach that will bring about positive changes within our company and in the hockey community," explained Geoff Molson, owner, president, and CEO of the Montreal Canadiens. "We are proud to have our partners in business and the community joining us in this important action plan."
An advisory committee consisting of members of the organization, long-standing partners and committed stakeholders supports the company in its approach, formulating advice and recommendations on the action plan and the resulting initiatives (see appendix).

Keeping in mind that athletes are role models for their peers and youth, the organization is committed to raising awareness and educating young people on the concept of consent, respect for others, and the serious consequences of sexual cyberviolence.
