RALEIGH -- The Montreal Canadiens announced on Thursday the following updates regarding the team's roster.
Defensemen Louie Belpedio and Gianni Fairbrother were placed on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list. They're being monitored closely by team medical staff and following guidelines and protocols set by the NHL. Belpedio and Fairbrother join forwards Paul Byron, Laurent Dauphin, Mike Hoffman, Artturi Lehkonen and Tyler Toffoli in the COVID-19 protocol, along with defensemen Ben Chiarot, Joel Edmundson, Jeff Petry and Chris Wideman, and goaltenders Jake Allen and Cayden Primeau. Goaltending coach Eric Raymond is currently in the COVID-19 protocol as well.
