Updates regarding the Canadiens' roster

Artturi Lehkonen was added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list, while Joel Armia and Mathieu Perreault were placed on injured reserve

MONTREAL -- The Montreal Canadiens announced the following updates on Saturday regarding the team's roster.

Artturi Lehkonen was added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list and is being monitored closely by team doctors. He will follow the guidelines and protocols set by the NHL.
Joel Armia and Mathieu Perreault were placed on injured reserve (IR) and will be out until after the holiday break.
In addition, the team will travel to New York on Monday morning rather than Sunday afternoon as originally planned as a precautionary measure.
The Canadiens will practice at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
