MONTREAL - Once again this season, we're calling upon you, the fans, to determine THE play of the year, the one that made you jump out of your seats with pure excitement.
Youngsters certainly earned their rightful place on the Play of the Year bracket for 2017-18. Charlie Lindgren is featured no less than three times, as is Nikita Scherbak. Both were standout performers during their stints with the big club.
The Canadiens' top goal-scorer and point-getter this season, Brendan Gallagher, is also nominated on three occasions. Charles Hudon, Nicolas Deslauriers, Artturi Lehkonen and Paul Byron - on a breakaway, obviously - are featured, as are the usual suspects, Carey Price and Max Pacioretty, who round out the board. Sixteen plays were selected, and there will be one duel per day over the next two weeks. The winner will be unveiled on May 25. Until then, hit those keyboards and keep on voting !
