MONTREAL - He shoots, he scores! Cole Caufield sniped his first goal of the 2020 World Junior Championship as the USA prevailed over Jan Mysak and the Czech Republic.

United States 7 - Czech Republic 0
Caufield took advantage of a power-play opportunity to streak down the right side of the ice and place a perfect shot between the Czech goaltender's legs.

He wasn't done there, earning his third point in as many games by assisting on Matthew Boldy's goal.
He finished the game with two shots and 16:59 of ice time in the 7-0 win.
Consequently, Mysak was kept off the scoresheet, but had a busy night nonetheless, finishing with 17:41 of ice time, the second-highest mark among all forwards.
