Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks, adidas, and NHL announced today the release of the 2022 Reverse Retro jersey and game schedule. The Canucks will wear their Reverse Retro jersey in seven home games throughout November and December, debuting on November 1st against the New Jersey Devil. Fans can pre-order their jerseys now on Vanbase.ca.

The Canucks' 2022 Reverse Retro jersey is paying tribute to our namesake and bringing back the legendary 1962 Johnny Canuck. Before entering the NHL in 1970, the Vancouver Canucks debuted in the former Western Hockey League in 1945 with Johnny C as their logo, proudly displaying the beloved figure on their jerseys.
This is the third installment of adidas' Reverse Retro program, and the 2022 authentic NHL ADIZERO jerseys are made with adidas innovation Primegreen: a series of high-performance materials containing a minimum of 50% recycled content. The Johnny Canuck jerseys are complete with remixed royal blue, green, and beige colours and player numbers are on the left chest and right shoulder to match the 1960's style.
The Vancouver Canucks will be celebrating Johnny C's homecoming at Rogers Arena on November 1st against the New Jersey Devils with logger-themed, family-fun activations. Festivities will take place pre-game on the plaza and continue inside the arena with beard face painting, giveaways, exciting food offers and more. Fans are also encouraged to dress in their best logger attire for a chance to win a signed Canucks Reverse Retro jersey!
