Dickinson, 26, recorded 15 points (7-8-15) and 18 penalty minutes in 51 games with Dallas last season. He ranked first among all Stars forwards in blocked shots (49) and fourth in hits (78) while averaging a career-high 16:12 in time on ice.
Dickinson has appeared in 221 career NHL games, all with Dallas, collecting 63 points (25-38-63) and 64 penalty minutes. Dickinson has appeared in an additional 40 postseason games, including a trip to the 2020 Stanley Cup Final, totaling nine points (5-4-9) and 12 penalty minutes.
A native of Georgetown, Ontario, Dickinson represented Team Canada at the 2013 IIHF World U18 Championships in Sochi, Russia, helping the team to its third gold medal title.
The 6'2", 200-pound forward was originally selected by Dallas in the first round, 29th overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
