Kuzmenko, 26, accumulated 53 points (20-33-53), 10 penalty minutes and a +15 plus/minus rating in 45 games played with St. Petersburg SKA of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) last season. He set career highs in points (53) and assists (33), leading the team in both categories. He also set a career high in goals (20) ranking him second on the team.
The 5'11", 194-pound forward has represented his country on the international stage on multiple occasions, totalling 16 points (10-6-16) and six penalty minutes in 37 games played.
