HFC - Press Release - 2568x1444

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks will host Hockey Fights Cancer night on Saturday, December 3 when the team takes on the Arizona Coyotes. This night culminates the month-long awareness campaign through the month of November that is supported by all 32 teams in the NHL and unites the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families. Together, we look to inspire hope and courage for those who are living with, going through, and moving past cancer.

This year's Hockey Fights Cancer game will have a special focus and holds important meaning to a member of the Canucks family. In 2020, Natalie Miller's mother, Janet, passed away from metastatic melanoma. Since her diagnosis, J.T. and Natalie have supported the BC-founded Save Your Skin Foundation. The Vancouver Canucks are delighted to announce that a $20,000 donation will be made to the Save Your Skin Foundation on behalf of the Canucks for Kids Fund. If you would like to learn more about SYSF, they will be set up in Community Corner, section 111.
Fans are also invited to write their special person's name on the Hockey Fights Cancer "I Fight For" wall at section 102 and share via social media using the hashtag #HockeyFightsCancer. Together, we look to inspire hope and courage for those who are living with, going through and moving past cancer.
