The Canucks anchor on the blueline for 11 seasons including the West Coast Express era, Ohlund helped lead the club to four playoff appearances and the best regular season record at the time in franchise history in 2006.07 (105 points). A four-time winner of the Babe Pratt Trophy awarded to the best defenceman on the team (1998, 2000, 2004, and 2006), Ohlund finished his career as the Canucks all- time leader in blueline goals (93), points (325) and shots (1,534). Among Canucks defencemen, he also ranks fourth all-time in assists (232) and power play goals (36), and second in shorthanded goals (5), game-winning goals (19) and overtime goals (6).
Originally drafted by Vancouver with the 13th overall selection in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, Ohlund played a total of 13 NHL seasons split between the Canucks (1997-2009) and Tampa Bay Lightning (2009-2011). A former All-Star and All-Rookie Team recipient, Ohlund ranks eighth on the Canucks all- time games played list (770).
