The contest is open to individuals aged 8 - 12. The top three fundraisers will be invited to participate in the game and another three will be randomly drawn from all those who raise more than $300.
"Not only will these kids have an opportunity to interact with two professional athletes who achieved their dreams of making it to the NHL, but they'll also be able to watch dozens of Mackenzie Tour players who are making their way to the PGA TOUR," said David Lee-Fay, tournament director. "This is a great way to reward some great kids while giving something back to the community."
All kids who raise more than $100 will be invited to meet Daniel & Henrik and take in the final round of the Freedom 55 Financial Open.
"We are excited to partner with the Mackenzie Tour to host this unique event for BC kids," said Alex Oxenham, Executive Director of the Canucks for Kids Fund. "Our aim is to inspire kids to pursue their athletic goals by introducing them to world-class athletes while also encouraging them to contribute to their community in an impactful way."

Over the last 31 years, the CFKF has granted more than $53 million to BC charities.
