Archibald, 28, split the 2017.18 season between the Vancouver Canucks and Utica Comets, registering nine points (4-5-9) in 27 games with Vancouver and 16 points (7-9-16) in 25 games with Utica.
In 2016.17, the 6'3", 212-pound forward led the Comets in goals (23) and points (47) and was the recipient of the Tom McVie Award as the Coach's MVP and the Mohawk Valley Player of the Year Award.
Archibald has appeared in 43 career NHL games, collecting 12 points (5-7-12) and 14 penalty minutes.
A native of Newmarket, Ontario, Archibald was originally signed as a free agent by Vancouver in 2013.
