CFKF 5050 Raffle - Press Release 2568 x 1444

Vancouver, B.C. - The Canucks for Kids Fund (CFKF) is excited to announce that they will be hosting an online 50/50 raffle with all proceeds going towards ensuring that more children can actively partake in organized sport. Whether it's aiding in acquiring new skates, a fresh stick, gloves, or covering league registration fees, funds will provide essential support as children gear up for the upcoming season.

Tickets are available for purchase now at canucks.com/online5050 with sales closing on Monday, August 21 at 12:00pm PT.

"The funds raised through this raffle seek to foster inclusivity, recognizing that financial barriers prevent 1 in 3 children from enjoying organized sports," said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports and Entertainment, Business Operations. "Beyond instilling values of teamwork and camaraderie, organized sports promote an active lifestyle and help increase self-esteem. All proceeds will go into making sure that children do not miss out on the opportunity to play the sports they love."

Funds raised will support charities like KidSport, who provide grants to kids from families facing financial barriers to help cover the cost of their sport registration fee so they can experience the joy of a season of sport.
