Canucks sign defenceman Jalen Chatfield

...to a one-year, two-way contract

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has signed defenceman Jalen Chatfield to a one-year, two-way deal contract.

Chatfield, 24, appeared in 48 games with Utica this season, recording four points (0-4-4), 16 penalty and a +12 plus/minus rating.
The 6'1" 188-pound defenceman first joined the Comets in 2017-18. Over the course of three seasons with Utica, Chatfield has accumulated 17 points (2-15-17) and 57 penalty minutes.
