Leivo, 25, recorded 24 points (10-14-24) and 32 penalty minutes in 76 games played with Toronto and Vancouver this past season, setting career-highs in games played, goals, assists, and points. In 133 career NHL games over parts of six seasons split between Toronto and Vancouver, Leivo has collected 46 points (24-22-46) and 52 penalty minutes.
A native of Innisfil, Ontario, Leivo was acquired from Toronto on December 3, 2018, in exchange for Michael Carcone. He was originally selected by Toronto in the third round, 86th overall, at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
