Canucks recall Baertschi from Comets

Vancouver, BC - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has placed forward Micheal Ferland on injured reserve list and recalled Sven Baertschi from the Utica Comets.

Ferland has appeared in 12 games for the Canucks (1-4-5) this season. He played 71 games in 2018.19 with the Carolina Hurricanes (17-23-40).

Baertschi has played seven games with the undefeated Utica Comets (2-8-10) this season. In 2018.19 he played 26 games with Vancouver (9-5-14).
