Schaller, 27, scored a career-high 22 points (12-10-22) and logged 42 penalty minutes in 82 games with the Bruins last season. The Merrimack, NH native has played 176 career NHL games with Buffalo and Boston, recording 41 points (21-20-41), and adding 69 penalty minutes. In 17 post season appearances, Schaller has three points (1-2-3) and four penalty minutes.
Undrafted, Schaller played four seasons at Providence College and was named Hockey East Defensive Forward of the Year in 2012.13. He signed as a free agent with Buffalo in April, 2013.
