The Washington Capitals announced Caps 50 Fest Presented by TikTok, a 50th Anniversary celebration on Oct. 10 at Capital One Arena featuring Third Eye Blind as the headlining act.

This special event marks the official kickoff of the Capitals' 50th Anniversary season and promises to bring together the entire Capitals 2024-25 roster, over 60 Capitals alumni, and fans for an incredible experience celebrating five decades of Capitals hockey and the organization's future.

Get ready for an unforgettable showdown as the Washington Capitals alumni hit the ice once again! Join us for a thrilling event that celebrates the history and heart of our franchise, featuring iconic former players who made their mark in Capitals history. The puck drops at MedStar Capitals Iceplex on Friday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. The game is free and open to the public.

Unable to make the game? Monumental Sports Network will provide live coverage with exclusive alumni interviews and ice level access from 2:00 - 3:30 PM.

The Capitals' home opener on Saturday, Oct. 12, will be marked by the participation of the 2024-25 Capitals roster and alumni in the Rock the Red Carpet event, followed by a special pre-game ceremony to honor 50 years of Capitals hockey.
