I am an AUTO-RENEW Account - do I need to do anything?
No, as an auto renew customer, your Club Red 365 membership will automatically renew for future seasons on our 12-month payment plan. Unless you cancel before March 15, 2024, by contacting your Membership Services Manager via phone, your membership will automatically renew for future seasons on our auto renew plan.
You will be charged the effective membership price on March 15, 2024, and on or around the 15th of each subsequent month for the duration of each season's 12-month payment cycle (March-February), on the payment credit card you provide. The 2023-2024 effective membership price is provided in the 2024-25 Season Ticket Membership price chart which is located on the 2024-25 Capitals Membership Renewal website. You may change from the 12-month auto-renew payment plan to another of the available payment plans described below at any time by contacting your Membership Services Manager via phone or email; provided, that you must contact your Membership Services Manager before the 15th of any month to avoid being charged for the next month on the monthly plan.
Where can I find my renewal invoice?
Your renewal invoice for the 2024-25 season can be accessed by logging into MSE Account Manager using your Capitals account credentials.
How will my Power Pay payment plan work for the rest of this season and future seasons?
If you are enrolled in the 12-month Auto Renew Power Pay, your Club Red 365 membership will automatically renew for future seasons on our 12-month payment plan. Under the 12-month payment plan, you will be charged the effective membership price beginning on the date of your renewal and on or around the 15th of each subsequent month for the duration of each season's 12-month payment cycle (March-February), on the payment credit card you provide.
The effective membership price, which will be based on the membership pricing in effect at the time of renewal, will be communicated to you each year before the first payment in the new season's cycle. The 2024-25 effective membership price is provided in the 2024-25 Season Ticket Membership price chart which is located on the 2024-25 Capitals Membership Renewal website. You may change from the 12-month auto-renew payment plan to another of the available payment plans described below at any time by contacting your Membership Services Manager via phone or email; provided, that you must contact your Membership Services Manager before the 15th of any month to avoid being charged for the next month on the monthly plan.
What will happen to my ticket invoice if the Washington Capitals are invited to participate in an NHL special event?
The ticket purchaser acknowledges and agrees that [tickets] being purchased hereunder are solely for 2024-2025 NHL preseason and regular games presented by the Washington Capitals and played at Capital One Arena, and for the avoidance of doubt, shall not include tickets, or the right to purchase tickets, to any other event or game, including, but not limited to, any NHL European Global Series Games, NHL China Games, NHL Winter Classic, NHL Heritage Classic, NHL Stadium Series, NHL All-Star or NHL Draft event ("League Special Event") held in the Washington Capitals market or hosted by the NHL at Capital One Arena or otherwise in which the Washington Capitals participates. The ticket purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the Washington Capitals and/or NHL may cancel, postpone, reschedule or relocate games or events for any reason (e.g., move a regular season game of the Washington Capitals from Capital One Arena to an alternate venue for the purposes of playing a League Special Event), as determined in its/their sole discretion, as well as to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any aspect of the rules, operations and presentations of NHL games and events ("Preemption").
In the event that any game or event for which tickets have been sold to the ticket purchaser is not played or presented in Capital One Arena for any reason, including, but not limited to, Preemption, such event shall in no way be deemed, argued or construed to be a breach by the Washington Capitals of any terms, conditions, agreement or any other duties or obligations in connection with the sale and use of these tickets and, in such event, the ticket purchaser's sole remedy shall be a pro-rata account credit or refund equal to the price paid for these tickets as specified in the ticket invoice, and the ticket purchaser hereby waives and releases any and all claims it may have against the Washington Capitals and/or the NHL with respect to such game(s) or event not played or presented at Capital One Arena.
What happens if I miss a payment or my credit card is declined?
If a problem arises concerning your payment, you will be contacted by the Washington Capitals to provide a valid credit card. Your online account manager privileges will be suspended until the payment is made and your tickets may be blocked. If you are unable to arrange for regular monthly installments, you will be removed from Power Pay and will need to pay your remaining balance in full to avoid cancellation of your season-tickets.

Updating your credit card through your account manager will not update the credit card for your payment plan.
What are my options for receiving the funds when selling tickets through the NHL TicketExchange?
Season Ticket Members have two options for receiving resale credit when selling tickets through the NHL TicketExchange. The first option is direct deposit, this option will have all resale credit from sold tickets deposited directly into an eligible checking or savings account 5-7 days after the game has been played. The second option is seller credit, this option will have all resale credit from sold tickets deposited directly into your Capitals team account which will be credited towards future seasons twice per year, first during the renewal period and second on or about July 15th.
*Please note: the only way to access funds from sold tickets immediately is to select the direct deposit option. If seller credit is preferred, you must have this option turned on by your Membership Services Manager or by calling us at (202) 266-2350. If the seller credit option is selected, funds will be held in your Washington Capitals account and distributed twice annually directly to your ticket invoice for the next season. The first being on your renewal invoice and the second being just prior to the July 15 payment.
I have resale credit on my team account, can I use it to make my regular monthly payments?
No, any resale credit accrued by the resale of 2023-24 regular-season tickets and 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs can only be used towards the 2024-25 regular season when applied during the renewal period or the July funds transfer. Resale credit for tickets sold from the start of the 2023-24 season up to January 31, 2024, will be noted on your 2024-25 renewal invoice and applied to your renewal balance. Resale credit for tickets sold on or after January 31, 2024, will automatically be applied prior to your account on or about July 15, 2024, reducing your overall account balance. Resale credit in your team account can only be used toward future seasons or ticket purchases.
SELECT-A-SEAT FAQs
What is Select-A-Seat?
Our annual event where full season-ticket members can relocate their seats for the upcoming season based on availability. The 2024-25 Select-A-Seat event will be held online using our virtual venue platform on at a future date, and is the only relocation opportunity for the upcoming 2024-25 season. In order to participate in our Select-A-Seat event you must be renewed by the March 15, 2024 deadline.
How are the time slots assigned for this event?
The time slots are assigned based on the number of RSVPs and the "since date" for each account, sorted by account number. Time slots are not consistent year over year, however the most tenured accounts will always have the earliest access to the Select-A-Seat event. Due to the large number of accounts, there is the possibility that accounts within the same "since date" will be split between different time slots with the earliest account numbers getting the first time slot in that tenure group.
I have a friend with a later time slot; can they come to my time slot?
No, in order for you and your friend to relocate seats together, you must attend the later of the two time slots to maintain the tenure system by which times were assigned.
I can't make the Select-A-Seat, can I have a share partner move my seats?
Yes, you will be able to select a share partner as a proxy. However, if your share partner selects a location that you are not happy with, you will not have another relocation opportunity.
What will be available during my time slot?
We can't guarantee specific locations during a specific time slot. The Select-A-Seat event is very fluid and available inventory will be changing during each time slot. Throughout the event, we will have representatives on the phones to assist with questions.
I know someone that did not renew their seats, can I move into those?
If those seats are open and available at your assigned time slot during the event you are welcome to move into them. To maintain the integrity of the event and our loyalty program, all non-renewed and open inventory will be made available to season-ticket members based on their assigned time slot.
