Caps Host Inaugural Captain's Brunch

Over 50 local high school captains were recognized for their leadership throughout their high school career.

The Washington Capitals Youth Hockey Department hosted their inaugural Captain's Brunch on Saturday, March 4 at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.

Over 50 local high school captains from the MAGHL, MAPHL, MSHL, NVSHL and CSHL joined the Capitals for morning skate to be recognized for their leadership throughout their high school career.

The event included appearances by CSN Mid-Atlantic broadcaster and former Capitals forward Alan May as well as Capitals head coach Barry Trotz, who spoke to the group and presented each Captain with a commemorative puck.
