A limited run publication, Washington Capitals W Magazine is available for $19.99 (plus tax). In addition, W Magazine will be offered as a free gift with purchase on Dec. 21 at each store when fans buy $50 worth or more of product (before tax). The magazine features exclusive photography, content and interviews on lifestyle topics with each member of the 2019-20 roster. In addition, W Magazine includes a narrative on how Alex Ovechkin changed the landscape of hockey in Washington D.C., authored by Capitals senior writer Mike Vogel, and a profile on Tom Wilson's community program, Forty Three's Friends, written by Kim Olsen. W Magazine also features never before seen personal photos provided by Capitals players.
Players were photographed for the publication at 672 Flats managed by KETTLER, Latitude Apartments and at Capital One Arena. Photography services were provided by Patrick McDermott, Greg Powers and Damon Banks.
