GLENDALE, ARIZONA - The Arizona Coyotes announced today the start times to their 2021-22 National Hockey League regular season schedule. The Coyotes will play a total of 82 regular season games (41 home and 41 away). The Coyotes will open their 26th year in the Valley of the Sun on Thursday, Oct. 14 at Nationwide Arena against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. AZ time. Arizona will host Ryan O'Reilly and the St. Louis Blues on Monday, Oct. 18 in the home opener at 7:00 pm.
The NHL's scheduling format will see the Coyotes play four games against these Central Division rivals: St. Louis Blues, Winnipeg Jets, Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars. Arizona will face the Minnesota Wild and Nashville Predators three times for a total of 26 games within the division. The Coyotes will face the remaining eight Western Conference teams three times each for a total of 24 games. In addition, the Coyotes will play each of the 16 Eastern Conference teams twice, once at home and once on the road.
