KEY FACTS:
• The Coyotes will enter the game with a three-game winning streak vs. Philadelphia. All three Arizona victories in that stretch were by one goal.
• Scott Wedgewood, whom the Coyotes acquired on Saturday via a trade with the New Jersey Devils, will start in goal for the first time with Arizona. Wedgewood has played four NHL games, all for New Jersey in 2015-16. His NHL stats are impressive: a 2-1-1 record with a 1.25 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage. Goalie Hunter Miska, whom the Coyotes recalled from the American Hockey League on Monday, will serve as Wedgewood's backup.
"I don't know much about Scott, but he looked good in the warm-ups (on Saturday)," Head Coach Rick Tocchet said. "He's a pretty technical guy, which is nice. I told him to just have fun with it."
Meanwhile, Antti Raanta remains sidelined, on the injured-reserve list, with a lower-body injury, and Louis Domingue remains on the roster after clearing waivers on Monday.
