The series shifts to Montreal as the Capitals face the Canadiens tonight at Bell Centre for Game 3 of their First Round series. Washington leads the series 2-0 after winning Games 1 and 2 in D.C. The Capitals won their lone visit to Montreal this season 4-2 on Dec. 7, which marked the ninth win of their franchise record 10-game road winning streak.

The Capitals ranked tied for first in the NHL in road point percentage (.646) in the regular season and tied for second in road wins (25). Washington’s 25 road wins were also the second most in a single season in franchise history. The Capitals ranked third in in the NHL in road goals against per game (2.73), tied for fourth in road goals for per game (3.29) and fourth in road penalty-kill percentage (82.4%).
