GIRLS JAMBOREE

Girls Jamboree Series

The Dallas Stars will offer 2 skill Jamborees a month for the duration of the DSMHL season (September - March). Jamboree sessions will be held monthly at the Children's Health StarCenter in Farmers Branch as well as the Comerica Center in Frisco. Sessions are open to all girls ages 5-18 who play within the Dallas Metroplex. Jamborees will be individual skill-based practices to increase the skill development of female hockey players within our program.

FULL-ICE CLINICIS

Learn to Play Full-Ice Clinics

Expert training to teach on-ice positioning and rules. Instruction will be conducted in the classroom (parents are welcome to join) and then on ice (kids only).

Full gear for this clinic is required.

Session will include a 60-minute classroom session (8:45 am - 9:45 am) followed by a 40-minute on-ice session (10:00 am - 10:40 am).

XTREME HOCKEY CAMPS

Summer Hockey Camps

Join the Dallas Stars Xtreme Team on-ice this summer for a week long, half-day camp. Camp is open to players of all positions, ages 5- 14. All players must have their own gear to participate. Camp will focus on developing and enhancing player's individual skills sets as well as using these skill sets in game-like situations. There will be goalie specific instruction camps as well as a girls only camp week again this year!

Camps will include one on-ice training session per day, one off-ice training session per day (Monday - Thursday only), off-ice gear, and a Dallas Stars Summer Camp jersey.

The Dallas Stars Camps and Clinics are an initiative focused on hockey development across the southwest region in an effort to create the next generation of players. Our responsibility as industry leader requires us to be a world-leading example of quality, patient and age-appropriate programming that stresses the importance of positive team behavior and individual athletic growth.

All camps are run by the Dallas Stars Xtreme Team, a group of high-level, professional skills coaches certified through USA Hockey to execute clinics, camps and workshops across the nation, specializing in individual player development, ongoing education and age-appropriate programming.

Research has shown that players get three times more personal skill development through station-based practices when compared to traditional, full-ice team practices. The Dallas Stars Development Model employs the latest techniques and systems focused on individual player development. This model is player-centric, concentrated on age-specific training and the long-term athletic development of players across our region. Our goal is to educate, assist and develop players in an age-appropriate, high-energy environment that keeps them focused, entertained and passionate about what they are learning, turning their potential into excellence.
