preseason release

The New Jersey Devils' 2023-24 preseason schedule will consist of seven games, with three games played at home and four road matches, all with 7:00 p.m. start times. The club will play the NY Rangers, NY Islanders, and Philadelphia Flyers twice each, and the Montreal Canadiens once. Current NHL dates have rookies reporting to New Jersey for Devils Training Camp on Wednesday, September 13, with veterans reporting the following week on Wednesday, September 20. Broadcast information for the games will be announced at a later date.

The Devils open the 2023 preseason slate with a split squad matchup, on Monday, September 25, with a road game at Montreal and a home contest versus Philadelphia.

The club will then play two road tilts, Thu., Sept. 28 against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden and Sat., Sept. 30 against the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.

New Jersey will play twice at the Prudential Center to finish its home slate: Mon., Oct. 2 versus the New York Islanders and Wed., Oct. 4 versus the Rangers. The preseason closes Fri., Oct. 6 against the Islanders at UBS Arena.
