The New Jersey Devils announced the addition of defenseman Josh Jacobs to the taxi squad on Wednesday morning.
Jacobs played in the Binghamton season opener on Monday night, and appeared in three NHL games over the last two seasons.
In an additional move, defenseman Kevin Bahl was assigned from the taxi squad to Binghamton, along with goaltender Gilles Senn.
Bahl and Senn will be on the ice today for Binghamton's morning skate.
Senn appeared in 27 contest for Binghamton last season with a 2.77 GAA and .901 save percentage.
Bahl played in the OHL last season with Ottawa, appearing in 54 games with six goals and 25 assists.
Forward Mikhail Maltsev has been assigned to the Devils Taxi Squad from the main NHL roster.
Maltsev skated in his first NHL game on January 31st at Buffalo. The 22-year-old played 49 games with Binghamton during the 2019-20 season, recording 11 goals and 10 assists.
