Kasan has worked in professional sports over the past 15 years in the NHL and NFL, and has been a part of three Stanley Cup championships (Pittsburgh Penguins) and one Super Bowl championship (Pittsburgh Steelers).
Before joining the Devils, Kasan covered the Penguins for the past 12-plus seasons for the team's official website, flagship radio station and PensTV, joining the club in 2008. In that time, Kasan has reported on three Stanley Cup championship seasons, four Eastern Conference Finals, an NHL Winter Classic, three Stadium Series matchups, 11 NHL Drafts and six NHL All-Star Games.

Before joining the NHL, Kasan worked three seasons in communication/public relations in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2005-06) and Green Bay Packers (2007). Kasan was a member of the Steelers' Super Bowl XL championship team, and worked with legendary quarterback Brett Favre in his final season as a Packer.
"I'm psyched to join the Devils team," said Kasan. "I've seen firsthand the passion Devils fans have for their team, and I'm excited to join them. The future is bright in New Jersey, and I can't wait to come along for the ride."
