CZECH REPUBLIC 3, BELARUS 2 OT
Belarus: Yegor Sharangovich
New Jersey's Sharangovich opened the game's scoring with his first tally of the tournament, though it would be in a losing effort as Belarus fell to Czech Republic in overtime, 3-2.
Sharangovich scored on his only shot of the game while logging 15:29 minutes of ice time and a plus-1. He celebrated with a single-armed raised stick, which is quickly becoming his patented move.

Dominik Kubalik scored 83 seconds into overtime to help Czech Republic improve to 0-1-0-2. Belarus is now 1-0-1-1.

SLOVAKIA 3, RUSSIA 1
Slovakia: Marian Studenic
Studenic picked up three shots and a plus-1 in a winning effort for Slovakia, which improved to a perfect 3-0-0-0 in the tournament with a 3-1 victory against Russia (2-0-0-1).
Studenic also notched 12:42 minutes of ice time. Marek Hrivik and Peter Cehlarik each picked up two assists for Slovakia, which handed Russia its first loss of the WC.
Next: Slovakia is off until Thursday, when they face Switzerland at 9:15 a.m. EST. The game will feature Studenic against Devils teammates Nico Hischier and Jonas Siegenthaler.
GERMANY 3, CANADA 1
Canada: Owen Power (prospect)
Defensive prospect Owen Power played a personal tournament-high 16:15 minutes of ice time, but Team Canada suffered a 3-1 loss to Germany.
Germany's Matthias Plachta scored the game-winning goal and added an assist for a two-point night. His country improved to a perfect 3-0-0-0 in tournament play.
Canada fell to 0-0-0-3 and has only scored two goals in three games.
