Switzerland: Nico Hischier and Jonas Siegenthaler
Devils forward Nico Hischier was held off the stat sheet, despite the Swiss beat down of Slovakia, 8-1. However, the Devils captain was 70% from the face-off dot, and contributed a shot on goal in 20:09 of play.
Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler had two shots in 17:03 TOI and took a two-minute penalty.
The Swiss had just a one-goal lead entering the second, but a three-goal middle frame, followed by a four-goal third never let Slovakia get close.

USA 4, LATVIA 2
USA: Matt Tennyson
Devils defenseman Matt Tennyson scored the game's opening goal in a 4-2 victory for the Americans over Latvia. The goal came just 1:06 after puck drop.
Former Devil Brian Boyle gave the Americans a 2-1 lead later in the first, but the game entered the second tied at 2-2. Trevor Moore and Matty Beniers scored in the second period to help lift the Americans to victory.
Tennyson played 21:09 for the game and finished with three shots on goal. He has two goals and an assist in four games for the red, white, and blue.
