DENMARK 5, BELARUS 2
Belarus: Yegor Sharangovich
Devils forward and Belarus captain Yegor Sharangovich was third in ice time among forwards with 17:43 of ice but picked up no points as Belarus fell 5-2 to Denmark.
Belarus (1-0-1-3) had a 2-1 lead heading into the third period but the Danes scored four times in the final frame including three in a span of 4:27. Denmark improved to 2-1-0-2 and moved in front of Sweden for the final playoff spot in Pool B.
In five games, Sharangovich has two goals, three points and eight shots during the current World Championship.

CANADA 4, KAZAKHSTAN 2
Canada: Owen Power (prospect)
Defenseman and top-ranked North American draft prospect Owen Power built off his two-assist effort against Norway on Friday against Kazahkstan with another strong performance as Canada won its second straight game, 4-2 over Kazakhstan.
Power led all Canadian skaters with 26:05 of ice time along with his assist. The helper came on Canada's second goal of the game, building a 2-0 lead. Kazahkstan would tie the game at 2-2 but Canada's Cole Perfetti scored the eventual game-winner near the midway point of the third. Connor Brown would add an empty-net goal to seal it.
The victory was Canada's second of the WC, improving to 2-0-0-3. Kazahkstan dropped to 1-2-0-2 as Canada moved within two points of Latvia for the final playoff spot with two games to go.
