The New Jersey Devils announced the roster for the 2021 Prospects Challenge to take place Friday, Sept. 17 through Sunday, Sept. 19 at LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo, NY. The Devils will join the Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins in participating. All games will be streamed on newjerseydevils.com in promotional partnership with MSG Networks.
2021 Prospects Challenge Schedule:
New Jersey's 23-man roster includes 13 forwards, seven defensemen and three goaltenders. It features three players who played NHL games last season (Nolan Foote, Kevin Bahl and Tyce Thompson), four former NHL first-round picks (Alexander Holtz, Chase Stillman, Dawson Mercer, Foote - TB), two second-round selections, five third-round choices and 13 former Devils draft picks overall. Bahl, Jeremy Groleau and Fabian Zetterlund will serve as the three alternate captains.
