The Devils held an optional practice today at RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House after what has been the busiest past few days of the regular season.
Those who chose to skate were goaltenders Scott Wedgewood and Nico Daws, who worked alongside goaltending coach Dave Rogalski. Daws was
recalled from Utica
on Thursday ahead of the game against Washington.
Christian Jaros, Colton White, Mason Geertsen, Marián Studenič, Ty Smith, and Frederik Gauthier were also on the ice. The practice session was headed by assistant coach Chris Taylor and supported by Rogalski and Skills Development Coordinator Ryan Murphy.
Lindy Ruff confirmed after the optional skate that Ty Smith will be cleared to play tomorrow, setting him up to make his season debut on Saturday against the Sabres.
