The New Jersey Devils today announced the four games where they will wear the adidas Reverse Retro ADIZERO Authentic jersey, as part of the Reverse Retro Jersey Series Presented by Pepsi®. The Devils will wear the jerseys for the first time on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. ET vs. the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
The Devils will showcase their jerseys at home for the first time on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. ET when they host the New York Islanders. The first 9,000 fans in attendance at the game will receive a limited edition, "Chico & Nico" dual bobblehead, courtesy of Pepsi to commemorate the night. The bobblehead pays homage to the "then and now" of the team, with team captain Nico Hischierand beloved Devils alumni/broadcaster Chico Resch, who suited up for the Rockies from 1980 - 1982, prior to the team moving to New Jersey, where he continued to play with the organization until 1986. Prior to puck drop on December 9, Devils' alumnus and 1995 Stanley Cup Champion Bruce Driver will participate in the "Light Up the Rock" ceremony. Driver was actually drafted by the Rockies in 1981 (6th round, 108th overall in NHL Entry Draft) but made his NHL debut in 1983 in New Jersey.
The jersey release coincides with the return of Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop, a modern take on classic soda shop flavors, with a new limited-edition flavor - Zero Sugar Cream Soda Cola - joining the popular Cream Soda and Black Cherry flavors. During Reverse Retro Jersey Series presented by Pepsi® home games, fans will have the opportunity to sample each of the Soda Shop flavors by visiting Section 16 on the Main Concourse and Section 130 on the Upper Concourse when doors open at 5:30 p.m. while supplies last.

"The positive feedback from Devils' fans and hockey enthusiasts following the launch of our adidas Reverse Retro ADIZERO Authentic jersey has been incredible to hear as we celebrate our 40th season in New Jersey," said Jillian Frechette, Senior Vice President, Marketing, New Jersey Devils. "We looked to pay homage to the Devils' heritage with a nod to the Colorado Rockies, where the team played prior to moving in 1982. It was only right to partner with Pepsi for our four Reverse Retro Jersey Series games given their modern take on a classic with their Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop. Throughout these special games, fans will see unique, throwback themes and fan-centric promotions that will accentuate the Rockies' heritage here in New Jersey."

. The Colorado Rockies-inspired jersey pays homage to where the team played prior to moving to New Jersey in 1982. The jersey pattern follows the pattern of the original Devils white, red and green uniforms, worn from 1982-1992, but replaced with the Colorado Rockies' colors, which were also carried over from the club's original franchise birthplace - Kansas City.
The Reverse Retro Jersey Series presented by Pepsi® features matchups with select opponents from the NHL's original Patrick Division. The Patrick Division was the original divisional home for the Devils when they hit the ice in 1982, after arriving from Colorado.
