"Each passing day we are filled with more gratitude for frontline healthcare workers who continue to dedicate themselves to help the residents of New Jersey," said Devils President Jake Reynolds.
And to show that gratitude, the Devils organization has decided to donate 10,000 tickets for the 2020-21 season to RWJBarnabas Health front-line healthcare workers. In addition to the pledged 10,000 tickets, and as part of the club's "Pay It Forward" program, the Devils will donate an additional pair in conjunction with Season Ticket Members and Plan Members who push their credits forward to the 2020-21 season.

Those tickets will be gifted to RWJBarnabas healthcare workers as a show of appreciation and support to those fighting the deadly COVID-19 pandemic in our New Jersey hospitals and care facilities.
"We are incredibly appreciative of the Devils commitment to donate tickets to RWJBarnabas Health front-line workers and their families, as they are the selfless, dedicated heroes during this critical time," said Barry H. Ostrowsky, President and Chief Executive Officer, RWJBarnabas Health. "Josh Harris, David Blitzer, and the entire Devils organization have offered tremendous support to our entire system and I am sure our frontline staff can't wait to cheer on the Devils when they are back on the ice."
This ticket initiative has followed significant monetary and medical-supply based donations made by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment founders Josh Harris and David Blitzer, and the Devils, over the past two months.
On March 21, the Devils and Prudential Center staff compiled stocked medical supplies, including nearly 7,000 pairs of gloves, 10,000 hand sanitizer units and soap, sprays, wipes, and other cleaning supplies for donation to RWJBarnabas Health's network of 13 hospitals and 35,000 system employees across New Jersey.
These donations have gone towards bolstering the RWJBarnabas Health Emergency Response Fund's mission to support the network's comprehensive emergency care efforts.

With the tickets, funds, and supplies having now been donated, the Devils have also shifted to making sure our local healthcare workers receive the appreciation they deserve.
The club will begin their #StickTapsat7 social media initiative this evening where each night the Devils social platforms will post videos of team players, alumni, coaches, management, front office staff, Black and Red Members and corporate partners will salute doctors, nurses and healthcare nurses with hockey stick taps.
"We are humbled and honored to show our appreciation for [front-line healthcare workers] with these new team initiatives," said Reynolds. "We are proud to stand alongside our partners, RWJBarnabas Health, as we salute front-line workers whose strength and resilience mirrors the determination of our New Jersey communities, our players and our Devils family."
