At the second day of the 2019 NHL All-Star Weekend, Kyle Palmieri was all smiles as he walked the red carpet outside of SAP Center in San Jose, California.

He took some photos with fans before heading inside to get ready for the NHL Skills Competition that took place Friday night.

It was announced earlier in the day that Palmieri would take part in the Accuracy Shooting portion of the competition. Eight players compete in the times event where each shooter is positioned 25 feet from the goal line and shoots five pucks at LED targets located in the net. The fastest to hit all the targets wins the competition.

Prior to getting on the ice, Palmieri headed to the locker room to start getting ready for the event.

And finally stepped onto the ice with fellow Eastern Conference attendees.

Each of the attending players were announced prior to the event kicking off.

Palmieri took a shot on Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard during the Ticketmaster Save Streak Competition in the first half of the event but couldn't get one past him.

The Devils forward checked in with fans during the break back in the locker room.

And got ready to take part in his portion of the competition.

In the end, Palmieri came in seventh in the accuracy shooting event, hitting all five targets in 20.209 seconds.

But the most important thing, was that all the guys had some fun.
