Jacob Markstrom has arrived.

On Monday morning, Markstrom, his wife, and one a half-year-old son made their way to Prudential Center for the first time as members of the New Jersey Devils.

Taking a family tour of the facilities, Markstrom got acquainted with his new locker room, was greeted by his new teammate Curtis Lazar, met several staff members, and caught a glimpse of Prudential Center (without the ice down yet!).

Markstrom arrived in New Jersey over the weekend as he began familiarizing himself with his new home. One of the marquee off-season additions made to the Devils, he was traded to New Jersey on June 19. The 34-year-old had a .905 save percentage in 48 games last season with the Flames.

“This is a big challenge,” Markstrom said at the time of the trade. “It's a big team with high expectations and as a goaltender, there's pressure, and I've been on teams where there was pressure on goaltending in the Canadian market. I know what's expected and me, as a person too, and people who know me that I just want to win hockey games. And when we don't win I'm my hardest critic, so I'm just super happy and stoked about going there."

The Devils veteran players report to training camp on Sept. 18.
