Goaltender Corey Crawford, 36, has officially announced his retirement from the National Hockey League following 10 NHL seasons and 488 regular-season games.
The goaltender signed a two-year contract with the Devils in free agency. It was announced yesterday in a statement by the team that he would be taking an indefinite leave of absence due to personal reasons. And today he announced his retirement.
